Good Results, But Work to Do

A new client came to My SEO Guy with an existing site, and what would most often be classed as poor website traffic and poor search engine rankings. This is the sort of job we love.  To aid in the turn around of a small business(in this case essentially a one man business)

This SEO job, targets some highly competitive keywords, which always makes our job more challenging, but also allows us to examine different on-page and off page strategies to lift the site against the ‘tide’ of other sites competing for these search terms.

With one month down since we took on the job of Search Engine Optimisation for this client we have some good results, but lots of work still to do.

In regards to specific keywords we gained some excellent ‘rises’ from the previous rankings.

Prime Keyword #1 – Position #43  – Up 28 spots(Page 2) – to Position #15

Prime Keyword #2  – Position # 49 – Up 33 spots(Page2 ) – to Position # 16

Prime Keyword #3  – Position # >100 – Up >52 spots(Page2 ) – to Position # 42

Prime Keyword #4  – Position # >100 – Up >26 spots(Page2 ) – to Position # 52

We are working  with the site developer to ensure that the onsite elements are correct, so as to maximise the effects of your SEO work.  Some elements in the original build were missing(meta tags etc) which have delayed results for this month.  Changes made will ensure further improvement over the coming month,

We will report back next month.
